14. Physical abnormalities? (Both visible and not, including injuries/disabilities, long-term illnesses, food-intolerances, etc.) 

Other than some scars (like most of the Hawkes, battling the Arishok left permanent damage) he’s pretty healthy.  He developed a sudden “allergy” to lilies after his mother died, though. The scent of lilies makes his throat close up.

21. Given a blank piece of paper, a pencil, and nothing to do, what would happen? 

Depending on the day, there would be either fabulous outfits or naked people.  Etain’s actually a reasonably good artist, and he’s got a whole portfolio of erotic drawings he’s done.  As a present for Bela, he put together an illustrated version of Hard in Hightown.

28. Reaction to sudden extrapersonal disaster (eg The house is on fire! What do they do?) 

At this point? “Oh, it’s Tuesday, I see.”  *sighs and figures out what has to be done to mitigate the disaster*

35. What makes them feel guilty? 

Not being able to save people he loves. Seeing all of the Fereldan refugees in Darktown and constrasting them with his own circumstances.  

42. How far did they get in formal education? What are their views on formal education vs self-education? 

“Formal education” is quite a bit different in Thedas.  He actually had a very good education, between Leandra and Malcolm.  He used to envy the circle mages, but now that he’s in love with Anders he…really, really doesn’t.

49. Is this person afraid of dying? Why or why not?

Yes.  Terrified.  Doesn’t want to be, but he is.  Mostly, he’s starting to be really afraid of what Anders might do if he dies.  (He’s in the middle of Act 3. The worst is yet to come.)
